Bihar to have a state-of-the-art studio for Bhojpuri films
Mumbai (PTI): Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has decided to set up a state-of-the-art studio for Bhojpuri films on the outskirts of Patna.
The studio will come up on 200 acres land on Rajgir road about 40 kms away from Patna, at the cost of Rs 200 crore.
This information was given telephonically by the Chief Minister to Bhojpuri singer actor Manoj Tiwari.
Tiwari said he had met the Chief Minister recently with the request to encourage and boost Bhojpuri film industry in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.

A French woman performed Chhath puja, a Hindu festival in which prayers are offered to the sun god, in Bihar s Bodh Gaya town for the long life of her Belgian husband.
Axlle, a French woman in her late 20s, offered prayers to the rising sun early Wednesday on the bank of Niranjana river at Bodh Gaya, about 110 km from Patna.

'Chhath' festival ends in Bihar
Patna (PTI): The four-day 'Chhath', the most popular festival in Bihar, ended at the crack of dawn on Wednesday with devotees across the state offering "Arghya" (obeisance) to the rising Sun God.
Lakhs of fasting devotees and their family members began congregating at various ghats on the bank of the Ganga river here hours before the sunrise.
The 'vratis' (those observing fast) took holy dip in the river Ganga and offered obeisance to the rising sun before breaking their 36-hour fast.
Former Chief Minister and Leader of the Opposition in the state assembly Rabri Devi also observed fast and performed other rituals of 'Chhath' in a concrete pond constructed at her 10, Circular Road residence.
